our project to breed the cane corso was born in 1988  when, for the first time, I was aware of this proud race, not yet officially recognized.

I began to inform me on where I could buy a esemplare.I found it in Puglia, so I bought it. His name was Alex, certainly was not the dog we see  today but still rustic, but equally beautiful, elegant in his movements, strong in structure, intelligent, protective of its territory, sweet with the children. It was a  real  cane corso

Luckily I knew some people in Sicily who had fallen in love with this race before me, and began to work together doing historical research on the breed  in Sicily.

Many were the surprising discoveries such as the dog was  into one of the mosaics of Villa Armerina, a man who called his dog 59 very famous in  Ragusa,  paintings of the cane corso in Sicilian carts, stories av  their courage told by storytellers, etc..

In 1989 with the permission of sacc  we constitute 'the delegation sacc of  sicily with my great friend Tumminelli president.

Unfortunately in 1992 I  got  away from the breeding  the cane corso, but  i have kept  alive the passion for this wonderful breed.

Finally recently (2007) as born  our daquinea  kennels  breeding the bast of cane corso dogs, with dogs  from the best blood lines available today, with the premise of having the champions of tomorrow.
